Jorge Leon
Jorge Leon was invited by Sarma as part of the B-Chronicles thinktank. In
that function he created the video documentary 'Between two Chairs'. Jorge
Leon (1967) studied film at the INSAS in Brussels. From the very beginning
his interests led him into the documentary field as director of photography
and as director. He got involved in the dance scene as a photographer in
collaborations with among others Eric Pauwels, Wim Vandekeybus, Thierry De
Mey, Michčle Anne De Mey, Olga De Soto, Hervé Robbe and Xavier Lukomski.
For the KunstenFESTIVALdesArts he created the installation Unfinished
Stories in 1998. In 2000-2001 he shared the artistic direction of the
location project Highway 101 together with Stefan Pucher and Meg Stuart. To
Benoît Lachambres project 100 rencontres (2003) he contributed the
photographic work Black Rooms. Since 2003 he creates documentary film work,
