Dieter Lesage
Dieter Lesage (1966, Belgium) lives in Berlin and Brussels. He studied
philosophy at the University of Louvain, where he obtained his Doctors
Degree in Philosophy in 1993. Since 1999 Dieter Lesage is a Professor and
artistic research coordinator at the Department of Audiovisual and
Performing Arts (RITS) of the Erasmushogeschool in Brussels. His
publications include many articles and several books, among which Peut-on
encore jouer Hamlet? (Paris 2002) and Vertoog over verzet. Politiek in
tijden van globalisering (Amsterdam/Antwerp 2004.) He was a visiting
professor at the Piet Zwart Institute of the Willem De Kooning Academie in
Rotterdam (2003-2005). During the summer semester 2006/2007 he will be a
Visiting Professor at the University of Lüneburg. He realised projects with
the artists Herman Asselberghs, Johan Grimonprez and Ina Wudtke.
